A minimalist, modern, understated, bespoke website for an architect with an international reach. A web design identical to the vision of its client.
Identity enhancing personality
We have to be more careful than ever when creating an identity as an architect who goes to market with his skin in the game. Any negative connotation or poorly chosen symbolism could have an impact on the confidence of the person themselves. In this case, however, we managed to find a great solution through a combination via the simplest symbol – the colon.
The colon after the name leaves room for identity development. It shows that Monika Stábová is not only an architect, but that she is also a professional, a designer and, above all, a personality with a clear vision and style. We have transferred the very motif from the identity to the online sphere.
Web design developing identity for a new horizon
In print form, any symbol is immobile. Thanks to its simplicity, we were able to bring the colon online. Despite a limited budget, our programmers and coders were able to win with a colon that came to life. In doing so, we achieved what architects often struggle with- the impossibility of convincing their client that if the work comes to life, it will take on a new dimension.
We counterbalanced the deliberately chosen black and white design with examples of the architect’s reference projects that bring the page to life by presenting materials, wood, plants and many other natural elements. Within the system, we completed a custom-made CMS – content management system for the easiest possible control. We have maintained the scalability of the site for the future in an extensive blog.
Don’t forget the checklist when launching – google analytics, remarketing, newsletter, SSL, cookies
Many projects tend to neglect in their final phase what makes them unique. Fortunately, thanks to our fine-tuned internal processes, we keep an eye on these things and we haven’t forgotten the now basic account setup and interfacing at launch. There’s nothing worse than deciding to run an online campaign a year after launching a site and finding out you didn’t collect any data all along. The final work may take an hour / two, but it is of immense importance for the next life, the future of the website.
